GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE
These general conditions of sale regulate all relations between the company MAHER Deco SL with the trademark Il Mondo di Alex and its Internet customers (“The Customer”).
Before making any transaction, the customer acknowledges that he/she is aware of and declares that he/she accepts these conditions from the moment he/she clicks on the I Accept button.
1/ Specific conditions of sale and cancellations
The customer acknowledges that he/she is aware of the specific conditions of sale indicated on the screen (name, price, components, weight, quantity, colour, details of the products, etc.) at the time of placing the order and expressly declares that he/she accepts them without reservation. The placing of the order and its confirmation by the customer constitutes full and complete acceptance of the specific conditions of sale, which are applicable only to the order.
As these are customizable or made-to-order products, manufacturing is carried out per order received and once said manufacturing is activated, that order is unique and exclusive for the client. For this reason, please note that if you wish to cancel an order, you must send your decision to info@ilmondodialex.com. If production has not started, we will accept said cancellation.
In cases where returns are accepted due to failure to meet the customer's expectations, the customer will be responsible for sending the order to our address so that its status can be verified and the return can be approved or not. The cost of said transport will be borne by the customer.
In the case of murals that require administrative work and preparation of the mural (design, customization, adjustment of measurements), if the client wishes to cancel after having received the first draft, 25% of the total amount of the mural to be paid will be deducted to cover the costs of the work carried out.
2/ Order
The customer places the order by clicking on the “add to basket and confirm” tab. The order is added to a total that includes all the items confirmed by the customer by clicking on the “I have read the general conditions of sale and accept them without reservation” button in the order confirmation process.
Il Mondo di Alex's automatic registration systems serve as proof of the nature, content and date of the order, but a subsequent verification of the order will be carried out to identify whether there has been any anomaly or error in the registration. In the event of an error in the registration (computer error, missing data, unregistered measurements, prices at 0, etc.), the customer will be informed of this incident.
3/ Order confirmation
Our online store automatically sends confirmation to the email address provided by the customer that we have received their order and informs them of the details of its content. If you detect any anomaly or have forgotten to add any information, you can do so via our email info@ilmondohome.com indicating your name and order code.
4/ Incidents in the registry
On certain occasions an order may be left in a "review" status due to an incident being detected, such as in the payment of the order through the payment gateway (payment not completed between the client's bank and MAHER Deco SL bank), also due to a computer error in which a product may be priced at O, in these cases we will always inform the client and seek a joint solution to confirm the registration of the order "without incidents".
There are products in our online store such as TEXTILE PACKS with a price of 0. When the customer selects one or more boxes of the desired products with a click, the system calculates the price. If you decide NOT to select any product from the pack and click ADD TO CART, our online store allows you to register it at 0, but we inform you that it WILL NOT BE VALID and will not be accepted.
Our online store DOES NOT GENERATE gift products at a price of 0, any product with a price of 0 IS NOT VALID. You have checked the box with a click " " so with this action you ACCEPT what is indicated in this section of incidents in the registration.
5/ Conditions of delivery of orders
The customer will choose the place and date of receipt of the goods at the time of placing the order. Il Mondo di Alex reserves the right to use all necessary means to deliver the products to the address indicated by the customer. In the event of a change of delivery address to "other countries", the customer must pay for transport according to our carrier cost conditions per Zone/Country.
6/ Delivery times
All our products can be customized and for this reason we do not work with stocks, the order is placed just when the client confirms the order, it goes to a work queue and depending on the type of product we have a delivery time:
National Peninsula
- Vinyls, murals, paintings, wallpapers, panoramic photos the delivery time is 10 working days
- Textile products (carpets, crib and bed linen, etc.) the delivery time is 15 working days
7/ Shipping company
We currently work with the transport company MRW and GLS
8/ Delivery and receipt costs of orders
National except ISLANDS, Ceuta and Melilla: Delivery costs range between 4 and 6 euros depending on the amount and destination (VAT included), for baskets over 100 euros (VAT included) there are NO delivery costs.
National Balearic Islands: in the case of the Balearic Islands the cost is 12 euros for orders under 90 euros, Free shipping for orders over 91 euros.
National Ceuta, Melilla and the Canary Islands: Due to the logistical problems encountered and the problems with CUSTOMS, we do not offer sales service to these AREAS
International: This information is calculated according to the destination country and can be viewed just before confirming the purchase. In the case of countries outside the EU, there may be customs charges (tariffs) that will always be borne by the customer according to customs requirements.
When placing an order, the customer agrees to sign the receipt sheet presented by the person making the delivery, on which he may include any comments he considers necessary. By signing the receipt sheet, the customer acknowledges having received the number of packages indicated on it.
9/ Price
All prices are indicated in Euros and include VAT. The price invoiced to the customer is the price indicated in the order confirmation sent by MAHER Deco SL - Il Mondo di Alex.
Prices are calculated according to the type of product, measurements, type of finish and if a special customization is desired, these are the cases that can occur:
- Vinyls, we have various sizes and the price is calculated in relation to the selected size, additionally the price may increase if the Repositionable or Extra Strong finish type is selected. You will always be able to see the final price before making the payment.
- Murals and wallpapers, the initial price shown is "the minimum price to apply" and is related to a minimum measurement that when multiplied by its width x height is approximately 2 square meters. From here, the price will vary according to the measurements that the client enters in the WIDTH x HEIGHT fields. In addition, it may increase depending on the finish if it is WASHABLE or TEXTURED.
- Paintings and prints, we have several sizes and the one we give by default is the smallest, the price may vary depending on the size the client wishes to purchase.
- Textile products, the initial prices are a value based on the smallest size of the product, the price may vary when the customer selects larger sizes or integrates new products within the offer presented.
In all cases, the final and CORRECT price for your purchase is the one shown in the summary of your shopping cart and you can always decide whether to buy or not before confirming payment.
In the event of anomalies in prices indicated or calculated in our online store due to human or computer error, Il Mondo di Alex will inform the customer of this incident and once the customer has been informed of the correct price, a joint solution will be sought to resolve the error and thus be able to update the order with its correct data.
In the event that once the order has been placed and confirmed, you subsequently decide to change the product resulting in us having to give you a partial refund, 10 euros will have to be deducted from the total amount for return and management costs.
9/ Product sheet
The photographs showing the products are provided for information purposes only. The texts accompanying these photographs are reproductions of information appearing on the packaging or instructions for use. Differences between the photographs and the products may only be minimal and do not affect the essential characteristics of the products. The colour of the products displayed in the online store may differ from the actual colour of the product.
In the case of wallpapers and murals, we carry out the work to the extent indicated by the client, BUT if the client has ordered the width of the entire wall, the last strip may have a surplus (We work with widths between 90 and 120), so any surplus that may remain must be cut, for example, with a ruler and a cutter.
10/ Incidents and/or claims
WE ACCEPT returns in cases where the established deadline is not met or if you receive a product that is different from the one requested or that has arrived in poor condition.
In the event that the material may arrive damaged due to an incident with the carrier, a reference error or incorrect personalization, or a missing part of the material, upon receiving the order you have 5 DAYS to notify us by email at incidencias@ilmondohome.com of the causes (Wrong transport or product reference/design) and a photograph for our quality department to evaluate the incident.
The colour of our products may differ from the colour shown on your monitors, even the colour of one of our designs within the same range may differ from another design of the same theme, the main reason is that they are designs that have originally been HAND PAINTED and the artist may have used slightly different tones in one illustration than in the other. These causes are NOT considered for claim purposes.
We DO NOT accept claims related to lack of adhesion of our murals, wallpaper or vinyls, in the case of surfaces that are not smooth (walls with gotelé, granulated cement, rough, walls with washable paint or with humidity)
We DO NOT accept claims once the product has been used (textiles) or glued to the wall unless there is a manufacturing defect. Please check the order received before use and if you find an error in the design, phrases, names or anything else, you must notify us at info@ilmondodialex.com
Claims accepted by our quality control will be processed within a maximum period of one week from the acceptance of the same, being sent again at no cost to the customer. It is important to have the defective product in its packaging.
11/ Payment terms
The ordered products will be delivered after payment by credit card (Master Card, Visa Card), through Paypal, Sequra, Bizum or bank transfer.
12/ Security of private information
MAHER DECO SL - Il Mondo di Alex is obliged to protect your private information. The personal data collected during your connection to our commercial site will only be used to process your order. We will not sell, rent or disclose your personal data to any person (or third party).
13/ Information requested
By placing orders through the website www.ilmondodialex.com, you agree that MAHER DECO SL may use personal data about you, communicated by you or collected through the operation of the website. These data (names, email address, postal address, credit card number with its expiration date, etc.) are necessary for us to process your orders.
14/ Security of personal data
Orders (which contain your account information) are sent via a secure server. All information you enter is encrypted by a secure SSL program before it is sent to us. Message transmissions are also protected against unauthorized access by third parties.
15/ Warranty
The customer will benefit from the legal guarantee against hidden defects in the products sold. All our products are designed and manufactured with the greatest possible care. However, the guarantee will not be valid if faults or damage occur due to incorrect handling, lack of maintenance or care contrary to our instructions for use. The buyer must consult the instructions and appropriate recommendations found in the instructions for use provided with the product.
In the event of a defective product, the seller must proceed, as appropriate, to repair, replace, reduce the price or terminate the contract, procedures that will be free for the consumer and user.
The seller is liable for any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within a period of 2 years from delivery. The consumer and user must inform the seller of the lack of conformity within 2 months from becoming aware of it.
Our after-sales service is available through our email info@ilmondodialex.com and the telephone numbers indicated in our online store. We are at your service in everything we can help you with in case of doubts that may arise regarding the product received or help in its use.
16/ Express consent
I understand that my participation is completely voluntary, and that I can UNSUBSCRIBE when my order has been delivered, without having to give any explanation.
I freely agree to the use of my data to manage my order or to receive information about future promotions or offers from Il Mondo di Alex.
17/ Judicial Competence
The parties agree, at their discretion, to resolve any disputes and waive any other jurisdiction, and to submit to the courts and tribunals of the user's domicile.
